Cesc Fabregas emerged from the substitutes bench to inspire Spain to victory against Tunisia on Monday night.

The Arsenal midfielder replaced Marcos Senna at half time with the Group H pacesetters trailing to an early goal from Joahar Mnari, who tucked away a rebound after Iker Casillas had saved his first shot.

Fabregas had an immediate impact. He stung the hands of Ali Boumnijel three minutes into the second half with a fierce strike from the edge of the box, and kept Spain moving forward with some intelligent passing.

With 19 minutes remaining Fernando Torres dummied Joaquin's pass, Fabregas reacted quickly to shoot low towards the corner, Boumnijel could only parry the ball and Raul stabbed in the rebound.

Fabregas broke into the box three minutes later to force another save from Boumnijel before producing a delightful through ball for Torres a minute later. The young striker finished expertly to put Spain ahead.

With Fabregas excelling in midfield Spain pressed forward in search of further goals and were rewarded when Torres was bundled over in the box. He picked himself up to convert the penalty and round off Spain's comeback.

"We have played strong teams, so we are very happy with that," Fabregas said afterwards. "We are showing we do not need to be scared of anyone.

"It's not my decision [whether I start]," he added. "I had an opportunity against Tunisia, I tried to do my best and I'm happy with what I've done but it is not my decision."

1month since i last blogged haha!

Its been a month since i last blogged!Dunno why but very lazy to blog lol.Maybe because Arsenal lost Champions League Final dats why i stop blogging lol.Ok,its the June "holidays" now.Note the "" i put on the word "holiday".As Mrs Seng,my GP tutor told me,when these inverted commas are used,it means that the author is trying to give a different meaning to wat the word actually meant.

For the whole of this June holiday,i am doing nothing but studying..even though im studying like crazy almost every single day,i realised im still unable to finish studying all the topics..this is so so so sad..realli wonder when can i get a decent grade for my exams..zzzz..But nvm,at least i tried haha.

Today i went for CIP-Flagday at Pasir Ris..intended to go study instead of collecting donations for 5hours haha..but my fren was late so i decided i might as well collect some donations..I started standing outside Pasir Ris MRT station;i did not approach any1 for donations though.However,unbelievably,there are still kind souls in dis world who voluntarily went up to me to "tong" coins in...This is so unlike the mani mani people like me who always "siam" people who ask for donations.I noe its rude to always "siam" people but i cant help it as i feel these people are irritating lol.They should learn from me..quietly stand at a spot and wait for people to go up to them haha.

Oh ya,regarding the recent World Cup fever,I'm for the first time in my life,not really interested...who can be interested with so much things left to do and having so minimal sleep everyday..Haiz,the World Cup 2006 does not have an affinity with me i think lol.Nevertheless,Im going to predict the winner!!

Firstly of course there is the favourites-Brazil..However,i just have dis hunch dat dey wun win it this time..

Next-England,Im anti-england but i have to admit they have the strongest squad this year since a long long time.If they want to win,Rooney and Owen better get match-fit as soon as possible if not no chance;"RoboCrouch" is still not worldclass enough for me lol.And if its necessary,remove that gayboy beckham from the team and replace him with aaron lennon.

Ok,next!Argentina?Hmm..they are very strong as always but dey always underperform..and summore dey are in the Group of Death!Hopefully dis is deir year..hopefully..And in deir group they got the elephants!!Ivory Coast!!My favourite blackie team dis year!Got Drogba,Toure brothers,Eboue,Kalou,Zikora..power la haha.I think dey can get into semi-finals hehex.

UEFA Champions League Final: Barcelona 2-1 Arsenal.

A super sad part of Arsenal's history..Lehmann sent off after 18mins-that was super unlucky as he had been Arsenal's hero en route to the final.Henry was not himself on that day..missing goals he should haf easily finished off..Nevertheless,im proud of all the players..They gave everything they had,they fought for every ball..they were a match for Barcelona despite playing with 10men for almost the entire match..Juz like what Arsenal captain Thierry Henry said "What we gave today was more than them in terms of heart and everything, they had the luck but we fought hard. As I said to the guys in the dressing room you have nothing to be ashamed of,nothing at all."

There is no other club in this world that i am ever gonna support other than Arsenal because they play attractive football,have a never-say-die-attitude that people always questioned because of the lack of English players in the team and simply because they are the best.Once a Gooner,forever a Gooner~~

Ok,i've not been blogging like for weeks..or maybe a month haha..erm..anyway,MJC got kicked out of the A division competition after we lost to TJC-the most crucial match.It was a devastating blow to us to know we are out of the competition..the hardwork we put in,the hundreds of laps we ran around the track,the gym sessions,the many different friendly matches we played in..not to forget the broken ankle dat i had to sacrificed for this 1 competition..Tears almost flowed from my eyes after the match but lucky i controlled!Haha..went to lanshop after dat to play dota n cs,just to make us forget the unhappiness la..erm..for dota,i was in the same team as john n zhixiang..we totally thrashed chris,yongyi n weiwen hahaha but chris tried a late rally at the back though lol.

Hmm..my life after the competition..no more early release from school,no more trainings..feel kinda weird actually..but i think i still have to go to the gym though..for my stupid NAPFA!!I nid to work on my pull-ups real badly..lol.N er..other than dat its study study n more study..Life in school really sux..although all the shits have seemingly disappeared,it doesnt mean they dun exist..But..I juz haf to live with it la..be the happy-go-lucky person i've always beeen..dis description of me have been missing ever since i entered JC lol.

Ok,i've been studying quite hard la i think..at least im studying more than i did in the past..all for the sake of catching up with all dat i've missed becoz of my slacking attitude last year..n to keep a promise as well =P.

What else haf been happening in my life..hmmm...oh,i juz realised that super irritating ppl exist in this world!!They do not understand dat their actions cause others to detest dem..Ok,im not the victim but hearing about it alone makes me angry!!Grrrrrr~~~~~LOL.

Yeah!First time in history Arsenal is going to the Champions League Final!!!Paris,here we come!!!This morning woke up at 3+am to watch the match..darn nervous especially the alst minute when the kuku Jose Mari DIVE again to earn a penalty...lucky justice was done when Lehmann saved the penalty muahahaha!!!Sayonara losers!!!I hate it when players start playacting to cheat the referee..no sportsmanship at all sia..hate it when simulation is creeping into the once "beautiful game".Crappp....but still,the best team won!!!lalalala..

Oh anyway,MJC Bball Team is through to the 2nd round after beating HCIS n CJC...although we lsot to VJC..2nd round will be tough as we qualified as runner-up in the group..so we will meet tougher opponents..but who cares,bring them on..we will do our best =)

MJC Basketball vs Singapore Poly/Temasek Poly

Ok,the matches were quite long agoo..erm..the match against Singapore Poly was quite one-sided despite us performing quite well during the 1st quarter..we did not take scores at all but every1 knew that we were the losing team..Ok,playing against a Poly is a different thing from taking on JCs..basically they play a more physical game as they are older than us.. N SP wasn't playing to their best potential at all..they were "giving chance" haha.I dint do much in that game..coz i was being forced to play alongside the lousy players in our team lol..totally dunno wat the heck dey were doing..dey shld at least noe the "plays" even if dey are lousy..when these words come from a not so good player like me,u can imagine how lousy dey are..but its ok la,i was once like dem oso lol.So..hope dey can improve!!

Ok next,Temasek Poly..Eh..this match came 1day after my place in the "twelve-ppl" team is confirmed..so obviously,i wanted to do well la..Erm..came on during the 2nd-quarter n didn't do much la..was quite blur haha..dunno y but it always happen to me..i muz kena knocked n banged n whacked a few times in the game before i start to perform lol.So er..3rd quarter came on again..played with a "weaker" team comprising of tianwei,junming,yinglin,ken n me..Ok la,quite mean to say its weaker..coz tianwei is a gd player..junming not bad shooter..yinglin oso not bad shooter..ken oso not bad..lol,lidat every1 oso not bad le hahaha..but we couldn't click la sumhow..den erm..kinda proud i pulled e team up haha..1st wif a hook shot over the TP's no.14 who is so darnnnn tallll n had blocked me once in the earlier quarter haha..den after dat got past e defence n scored a "foul in"..but i missed my free throw!!aHHHH!!!All those effort put in to imrpove my free throws!!!lol..Den er..made a steal on the opposite end..den i realised i am out of gas haha..i feel tired when i perform well..not tired when i perform badly lol.Ok,so its juz 4 points la..but it was crucial lol.

Er..we extended the game..we played 5quarters instead of the usual 4...den it was obvious every1 was tired as we allowed dem to scored so mani fast break points..n we lost!!Becoz of dat former ITE Tampines guy who scored so mani 3pointers!!But overall,it was a good performance from us....so er..not bad la..hope can win Hwa Chong International School in our 1st match on April 17..Its the 1st time dat school take aprt in the competition so we have no idea how strong dey are...dats the scary part..ahhh jiayou jiayou jiayou!!

Hotel Rwanda(MJC version)

Hmmm...ok firstly,Hotel rwanda is a movie about genetic cleansing between 2 different groups of people..the Hutus n Tutsi who went to war with one another..But...but..but..today,im not going to talk about this.Instead,i'll be toking about a somewhat similar situation that is happening in my own class!!

Ok,for a brief intro about my claz..it is divided mainly into 3cliques...3 diff group of gals..n we guys simply mix around here n dere or form our own "clique".Note the "" coz its not realli a clique la haha.

So,there was an event called"Caesar's Challenge" for this year's Sports Day..So every1 in the claz was supposed to participate in at least 1 of the 3 events which include the above,Tug-O-War n Captain's Ball n 1 clique(we shall call it Clique1) signed up for the Caesar's Challenge..so they had to go for trials on erm..monday.But they decided to skip it..the decision was made in the morning(this info. came from some1 in the clique..she wrote it in the blog)

Therefore,because of their backing out..another clique(we shall name it Clique2) which had a member who was in the House Comm was obviously not happy(i think) so her clique had to take over n participate in the trials..together with the boys which includes ME!!N we WON!!Haha!

However,another member of Clique2 was still not happy with Clique1 for backing out because it brought to them unnecessary trouble..So she started writing about it in her blog which includes alot alot alot of "F" words haha..N of coz she isn't juz angry with such a small matter la..she was angry because everytime there was a class outing,only clique2 and some of us boys would turn up which is quite fustrating considering that it is a CLASS outing...

And that particular entry sparked a blog war as 2 other members of Clique1 started publishing their own blog entries with 1 oso including mani mani "F" words..it was very direct n was obviously aiming at Clique2.For the other blog entry,it was not do direct with all e vulgarities but it sounded quite bad in my point of view coz dere was apparently 2 diff things said in her blog n the sms she sent to Clique2 on Monday to try to explain why Clique1 dint go for e trials..She said she did not lie in her blog entry but what she wrote was different from what she smsed..so er..i oso dunno la..

Ok,now the 2 cliques are like having a war or maybe juz some members of the 2 cliques are haha..coz for example,while the other members of Clique1 are trying to fight back with their blog entries..1 particular member's blog entry is about some tv shows which seriously amused me..

Another reason for the title "Hotel Rwanda" is because my friend n i mixes around with both cliques n when something stupid like this happen,it realli puts us at a spot..so we decided to be neutral n try to bring peace to the class..juz like the UN soldiers in the movie..However,there is nothing much we can do to resolve this conflict..which is juz like the UN soldiers who have guns but are not allowed to fire them lol.

Thus,my conclusion is that both parties were at fault n bo bian,i shall continue being the wall between the 2 cliques(I was the only one separating the 2cliques this morning during assembly) before a war realli starts...

Yesterday had our tuanqi BBQ..had to prepare like siao for it haha.Thursday went to Bedok Giant n NTUC to buy food for BBQ with Shuling n Joanna..we obviously never done any marketing at all before hahaha coz we dunno how to buy mani mani things den muz keep asking people dere for help..so malu..lucky got shuling who is the only 1 who dare to ask ppl for help hahaha.the stingray thingy was the funniest n stupid.And we end up buying so mani mani mani things..but surprisingly,its not so expensive..at least to me la haha..

Friday supposed to go Joanna house at 2pm to meet her coz muz buy mani mani things again as enoch inform her on thursday nite..So i carried e 4 bottle of drinks n walked to interchange den i realised i nvr bring my wallet -.-"..den muz walk back home n take n go back again..super heavy la...den on the bus,1 of e plastic bag which has 2 of e bottles in it got hole!den i told joanna "wahh,1 of e plastic bags got hole lehx..n auntie ah,u can go to the bus stop to fetch me le.." den she replied"haha..good!more holes better!who ask u call me auntie....."n when i got down the bus,the other plastic bag realli got hole!!So i had to carry 4 bottles wif my 2 hands lol.So after dat went to buy all e stuffs for bbq n went to joanna's hse to prepare all e rubbish..had to clean the sotong which is so tough..so blacky 1..n den auntie miaoyin came back n started scolding for e mess in the hse haha.

After that went to Enoch hse dere for BBQ..got 2 pits n i started e fire for 1 of them..My "formation" style of starting fire works once again hahaha.The gals were like so surprised i noe how to start fire lol.Hey,i attend around 7-8 bbqs a year 1 lor...thanks to my tpss claz n mjc claz which loves bbq n chalets hahaha.Den we(Joanna,Shuling,Jasmine n me) went to play tennis..not fun 1!Keep picking up balls onli..n we were like playing on half the court only..coz they(including shuling n jasmine who i thot knew how to play) dunno how to play!!hahaha..at 8pm lidat went back n saw our pits being used by the adults who were having
prayer meeting dere..So we had to wait for a while before we get to use..After that,tried bbq-ing my "formation" style chicken wings n for once,it failed me...ahHhHh!I bbqed 4 of them but in the end only left 1..coz 2 chao ta,1 fell to the ground..But the last 1 i felt it was very very good la!!But they all say joanna's 1 is better..bbq chicken wings surely muz haf a little little little bit chaota de ma..but dun care,i insist mine is better.n we were very blur,we forgot to bring the magarine we bought..n e crabsticks as well..n the tongs oso!~Laughing out Loud~~

After that went home in Song En's new car haha..super big sia..power lol.N after dat went to slp lor..so tired oredi..This morning woke up at 5.30am n went to brush my teeth den realise its saturday today..-.-" Shuling,if u are reading this..i got e same problem as u hahaha.Ok la,nothing else le la..type until wanna die..my geography essay homework which consists of a 15mark qn and another 9marks qn i oso nvr write so long lor..haha.

Not been blogging for many days coz im simply too too too busy...yesterday was hell for me..Had plans to study for my geog test straight after Bball training which was already sapping out all my energy..Never did i noe some old woman would add misery to my sad life in MJC..

Before bball training was PE which is something i've been lookin forward to after a long,tired,stressful long day in school(It was games day today)..It was after geog lecture which ended around 3mins late...went to change into pe attire,wear my contacts,shun bian pee before going pe..n as i reach the sports gallery..i see ms choy,my pe teacher/HOD for PE waiting for my classmates n i..she started scolding us about us being late blah blah blah..n hey!come on la!we need time to change to our pe attire,especially when a few hundreds boys having pe has to squeeze into a stupid toilet n change..u expect us all to change at the same time..of coz we have to wait wat..dumbo..N IT WAS LIKE 10MINS LATE?!?! dots dots dots..

And she continue blabbering about shit shit n more shit..and instead of releasing us to play our games..she started my 2 days of torture..first up,2 rounds arnd the track(800m) followed by 40push-ups(legs on bench 1 hor),40 dips(hope u guys noe wats dat) n 40 sit-ups..Dis stupid thingy continued for 2 more sets..and if u dunno how to count..its 2.4km,120push-ups(legs on bench 1 i repeat),120 dips n 120 sit-ups in total..after dis rubbish,i thought it was all over before my classmate came over to tell me havent finish..n before i knew it,i sinned.

"**** her la"i shouted..lucky dat old hag didnt heard me..n she made us do some jumping thingy..she even praised me by saying "Only Simon is doing it the right way ahh...".I was so pissed with her n she still dare say dat..After that,pe WAS over..but its not the end..she told us to run 2.4km the next morning after my geog test..wat the heck?N becoz of that,i gave her 1 of the fiercest stares any1 have seen from me..n i believed she knew i was about to slap her face if she dare make us do somemore things..she came up to me n asked"are u ok?" n i gave her the fakest smile i can ever give.

Went for bball training but din train..didn;t haf strength to even shoot a ball from a range of 1m?-.-" It spoiled my whole plans totally..after spraining my ankle,i did not train for a long time n i had to sit out training last nite summore..pissed..went home n started studying for geog test with my whole body aching like some old man who had broken his bones in his prime.

This morning went for geog test..It should be ok i think..can pass la..but it seems i had some mental block or something..forgot everything i studies lol..Geog test extended till the 9.10 which meant we had no break..no break means cannot run..so we had to run after school..After school...lucky dat old woman had to meet some ppl from dunno where la..so other ppl took our timings for 2.4km..i ran until wanna die la..but i cheated kekex.

So after dat..me n my frens all so relieved..hell was over hahaha!

Now i noe why my pe teacher is a MISS when she is already 50+ going 60...Ok,thats mean..but..i hate her!!!I cant believe i've defended her all these times when my frens say bad things about her..Guess she needs more love before she go insane n make ppl do more stupid stuffs..

Weee...juz got back Chinese results yesterday..got a B3..which makes me wanna criticise the government again..It seems the result doesn't realli reflect my abilities at all..coz im 100% sure my standard for chinese isnt that high hahaha.But nevertheless,im happy!weee!hahaha!

Basketball was tiring yesterday..1st proper training session since i sprained my ankle..didn;t do much though..juz a recap of the plays and we played 5v5..dunno why i felt so tired..went home eat dinner den watch tv till 10pm jiu go orh orh le..haha.

Tml holiday!!Esther Lai gif us holiday becoz A level results were very good..at least for her la..i feel it sux actually...although there was great improvement as compared to last year's one..aiya,dunno la..stressed sia..see those ppl take results..

The government has placed huge emphasis on the education system of Singapore.this can be proven by the large % of its annual GDP that is spent on education.The reason is obvious as the only resource Singapore has is its people.By providing each and every1 of them with high quality education,Singapore hopes to ensure sustained economic growth each year.However,the government seemed to have failed to spot a major loophole in its education system.

It seems that every student in Singapore is studying for the sake of studying and not for the knowledge gained.Everytime after a major examination such as PSLE,O levels or A levels..all the things students had learnt are being "thrown back to the school" and the students will proceed on to the next education level.This is significant in the case of JC..everything that was taught in secondary are forgotten.All the sciences were forgotten for an "arts" student like me..and in most of the subjects i took in JC,there was no need for the usage of knowledge gained in secondary school..n obviously,i won't bother to remember wad i learnt in secondary school in that case.It was like learning everything over again..If that is so,why didn't we started learning wad we are learning in JC during maybe secondary school?Its such a waste of time for us to learn a whole lot of junks for 10 years n throw them all back and proceed on to learn another whole lot of rubbish in 2 years.

Furthermore,many teachers,adults n even my principal has told us JC students that the toughest stage of our education road is the A levels.It is regarded as the watershed between going to University or going back to Poly.Once we enter the Uni,a degree is almost guranteed..At least thats wat every1 is saying..If that is the case,i dare say that the JC stage is unnecessary at all.Why not let every1 go to the University?I strongly believe that a JC student who scored 3 Fs for his A levels can get his degree in University if he is allowed to proceed there.The education system in Singapore is simply crap even though Singapore is well-known for its good education system.

Oh well,after all those crap above..Im still gonna study like a piece of shit for my A levels.-.-"

Ok I got nothing to do,so i juz comment on the Champions League game between Arsenal n Real Madrid.I've watched the game twice n felt that Arsenal's performance wasn't as good as wat all the newspapers said..Poor finishing by Arsenal resulted in them not being able to extend their lead..N if it wasn't the same for Real Madrid,Arsenal may have even lost..But luckily Theirry Henry manage to clinch the game for Arsenal...once again!

It was complete domination of the match by us..Led by 16pts in 1st quarter..30 pts by 2nd..3rd quarter was a little poor by us so in the end of it still led by only 30pts..by at the end of the game..we owned them by 52 points wakaka..Such results have not been seen since the past glory days of Anglican High School.However,there is still much room for improvement..We are still lacking in some areas,gotta make sure we are not clouded by success..Gotta work harder and harder!!

Today,when i was walkin home..i accidentally kicked something n it flew super far..i was wondering why got rock in the middle of pathway 1..as it was dark i couldn;t see anything...so i continue walking...suddenly i heard a "crack" sound..den i realise i step on a snail!!and i 99% believe the earlier "rock" was a snail as well!!I killed 2 snails in a matter of seconds!lol.Although god is fair in everything he does..i dun understand snails..why are dey blessed wif such awesome speed n muz live in a shell which are suppose to protect dem..i wonder how does the shell protect the snail..1 step n BAM!DIE!So sad...R.I.P little snails.

Today basketball training was quite gd..although its still far from my best performance,at least i stepped up a gear..scored 3 pts..mani rebounds..but i missed 3 free throws!!ARGH!!had mani injuries as well lol..N today coach confirmed 10/15 players to play after CNY...and i am sure im not 1 of dem..so i gotta work harder!!!Ok la..dats all la...gone~~

Sick of Basketball...

Haiz..juz a few weeks ago basketball was the only thing that makes me feel like gg to school..But now,im getting sick of it..unable to perform to the best of my ability...i rather study nowadays..n i've not been to e gym for a long time..NAPFA confirm fail liao..sian 1/2...

From today onwards,i'm gg to have a change in my sleeping time..everyday i'll slp arnd 11.30pm instead of the usual 10pm...too much work to do liao la...blehx..dunno wat to write le..blehx..gone~~

Maths n Bball owned me!

Ah dui,today super bad day la..went to maths test confidently..as i did the 1st qns,i told myself:"wah piang,so easy..dis time win liao la"den part 2 of qn1 i din't noe how to do but nvm gif chance..so iwent on qn2..oso dunno..so go qn3..trigo!OSo duno!den went to last qns..lucky i noe how to do so not so bad..den i went to next qn..but...No more next qn!!So i think i fail le hahaha!N today long day sia..from 7.30am to 5pm..crazy pom pee pee.

had PE for last period..ran for arnd 2.3km den started walkin..as i was slacking..a small little gal stopped running n walk beside me..den when i turn to look at her,i realise its Joanne!!HAHA!So we slack n ran a little bit..ran for 24mins for 3.8km hahaha!

After that bball training...Starting not bad sia..turnaround jumper super zhun...macham cannot miss liddat..den after that play match..cant make it,sotong me keep forgetting the plays..den super sian...haiz..now got alot of work to do..tonite no nid slp le la..ok here i goooo...gone~~

Kampung style cell group~~

Yesterday nite i had weird cell group in church lol.As i was walkin into church,i saw completely no1 downstairs n the lights were dim..Den i started askin myself if i had read wrongly n dere is no cell group today haha.Den i went upstairs n was relieved dat dere were lights on inside..

den..as i walk in...the 1st thing i saw is 5-6 ppl sitting in a circle singing songs..and i started thinkin wat the heck is happening lol.N Carol started laughing at me after seeing my shocked expression..n i realise i ain't dreaming after all lol.So we had our cell group which is actually quite fun..the "jasmine" joke was the funniest haha!I dunno why but dere seems to be more fun in a smaller group..After cell group had to go home by bus..sad case..why did song en sold his car!??!Haha!

Today went to church in the morning..as usual..i was half asleep lol.but after the service,e lesson was quite interesting..A leader is not dere to take on the role of leading only,he has to take on the role of a servant as well,to serve others just like what jesus did for us.

Okie,tml i got maths test on mathematical induction,functions n trigo..the 1st 2 topic revise finish le..left the worst topic trigo..goodluck to me n may god bless me =)

Haha,1st blog entry since a long long long time ago..........this is my new blog,created by dear natalie haha!So...many thanks to her!I edited a little bit but still not realli done wit it but nvm la haha.So here goes...

Friday 20th Jan,went for a haircut straight after school at e usual auntie hse in hougang..din wear contact lens n took of my specs when cutting so i basically couldn't see anything..so cut finish i juz pay her the measly 6bucks n left..n i realise my hair like no diff as b4 haha!But nvm la..6bucks onli wat..den after dat went back sch for bball training..and i realise sumtin..i cant perform when coach is arnd..wats wRong wit Me!?!?but nvm..try harder lo..den after dat went home n realise natalie created e blog for me le haha.

Today eh..nvr do anything..wake up n come see my blog n er..no more le..lata gg church,discussing about addictions wahahaha.I'm addicted to so many things...lalala..
